Cafe Racer anyone?

Check this out guys... read below... from the builder himself... been into the cafe racer style for another bike to collect dust and I stumbled upon this... yes, i know it is modified and as the builder says, it isn't for the purists.... but read his email to me below... cool stuff! They go for around 5k to 7k... but this pic attached is my favorite. Moving to Austin soon!!

Start with the Heart of a Duck
Signature spec includes and is not limited to;
Stock motor when possible
Carburetor preferences are;
1st Dell’Orto SSI 27-29mm remote floats
2nd Dell’Orto 30-32 PHF pumpers
3rd Mikunis Various
4th Dell’Orto Square slides
Carburetors are dependant availability
Open chain case, and shift selector
F-3 Frame mods include extra gussets, rearset foot rests and controls
Folding brake side footrest, modified brake lever
Reveres shift pattern
Re-profiled shock mounts
Two finger clutch
UJM wiring and controls
Clubmans or Clip-ons
Adjustable steering lock
New controls and cables
Alloy rims
Stainless spokes
Fresh tires and tubes
Various brakes, drums often vented, typically Honda CL/SL/SC 350 two leading shoe fronts, for superior braking dry or wet, excellent touch, and shoes are affordable and long lived. Honda Twin Star and Rebel back brakes are a straight bolt up, brake components are reliable, predicable, and affordable, sprocket changes are also a plentiful
New chain
Good forks; Marzocchi, Betor, or Ceriani, again as available

These machines are precious and wonderful. I accept that the purists do not love me.
The form is my interpretation of what the factory would have produced if they had time and resources to build a production racer for the masses. A Café Racer, the machine that could have been.
A second premise might also be; that in ways these Bitsas from Bologna are as good as and / or better than originals.
Our advantage is that we have had time to select components. Components that have proven themselves as value added to the machines they were designed for. Italian, Spanish, and Japanese manufacturers frequently produced such delightful things; better suspensions, brakes, electrical components, and carburetion.
These parts may benefit the Ducati single lines. To me uniting these parts seems only second nature, and having completed so many, it seems only sensible.
New production parts continuously surface on the market; these will be incorporated as they are found to perform as well as existing original new and used inventories.
Attila Hemingway’s goal is to build to tradition, to reliability, to safety, to comfort, and finally to affordability. In that order.
I completely respect and understand the purists and detractors, and will continue to do what I feel is best for the breed.

A few more... in case you don't want to splurge for the 1199 Tricolore... these are only about $20k less in price... and about 180hp less as well.
