Rear Axle Socket for 848

Post by casilio848 on Mon Apr 16, 2012 1:03 pm

All,
If you want to save some money and are a "do it yourself" kind of guy, I have the socket for the axle nut on my 848 (43mm I think). I bought it recently at Ducati Austin and it is a speedy moto and figured anyone else may want to borrow it. I also rented a torque wrench and the 30 mm socket from Autozone when removing the front, so I don't have the front. Tire removal is simple as well if you have the stands to do so. I am hesitant about loaning out my Ducati rear stand, but if you need one to borrow, let me know and we can work something out... same with the front stand. The socket and rear stand only fit the 848 as an FYI...

That's good stuff. On my xx6 the rear sprocket is a 46mm. I have that socket and am willing to let someone borrow it if they have a xx6. I also have the socket for the xx9. Plus, I have a workshop set up in my garage. Anyone who need minor tweaks and adjustments - feel free to get in touch with me and come on by!*
