Texas World Monday May 28th (Memorial Day)

There are several of us planning a trip to College Station for a track day hosted by Ridesmart. Price is $150 for the day and if you want to go up the day before (like we are planning) the hotels range from $49 to $59 for one that you probably will not get murdered at or you can choose to camp out at the track.

I am planning on going again maybe on July 7th (hosted by Lone Star Track Days).

Dennis and Greg are both members of Elite Track Days and are always willing to talk about that membership, so if anyone is interested in that please let me know so I can pass your info on to them.

Joey hopefully your 1199 will be here by then so you can go break it in!

Well... had an awesome time at the Ride Smart track day. All of us managed to make it back with our bikes in one piece. We had a blast and it was good to get out there and run some laps and learn the track. Despite virtually a sold out event for all levels, we still managed to get plenty of track time and passing lanes. Met a number of people from San Antonio there along with our group. I think the garages and space allowed us to relax in the shade between sessions and hydrate for the next time out. Good venue, fast track and plenty of excitement. Hope to see more STDG members out there next time! Thanks to SAG for getting this information out to us as well as all the help coordinating hotels, Sunday night garage reservation, and getting in touch with Dave Wonders.
