2up Ride (urban attempt) Sat 3/16

I haven't been to the South Texas Motorcycle Show in a very long time but I saw a Groupon for $15 passes so I'm gonna go check it out this year. (Sat 3/16)

With that being said, I think we should make it a 2up ride. We can meet somewhere (Moto Liberty?) at 10:30 am (kickstands up at 11:00 am), ride to the show, then ride to La Gloria or The Cove for lunch.

I haven't been to any of the meetings, paid the dues or signed the waiver, but I'd like to go with yall! I'm a deadbeat slacker! If I can't because of liability and fairness to the group I totally understand.

Hey Al! Come on! People do not need to be a 'paid member' of our club or a registered DOC member to ride with us. We DO however require a ride waiver to be completed prior to actual rides. I do not think this event qualifies as a real ride. Although we've one or two other Diavel owners in the club I've yet to see one of them so you may be the first!

ps. of course... all the cool people "join" STDG to get an awesome club shirt and access to discounts! I'd be remiss in my duties as club Pres if I didnt throw that in!

By the way, I think I might have seen you a couple weeks ago on 1604. I saw a red Diavel. I tried to catch up to you (or the other red Diavel), but the darn traffic was too congested.

Prob wasn't me. I finally had a chance to take her out for a spin about 4pm this past Tuesday. I went out Bandera rd. to PR37..went up and back (all about the turns!) then over to my favorite local and secret set of twisties on Cielo Vista

Sounds good to me for a ride... if I haven't forgotten how to ride that is... it's been a long time since I threw a leg over the saddle. Hope to see you all then if not before hand. If the weather clears up at all this weekend, I am taking a quick ride.

we plan on going... but, we may have to drive... I need parts for my Duc... ahVengeance has been grounded - awaiting parts.

I talked to Miguel about us meeting at Moto Liberty and he said he should have some coffee and donuts for us. See you Saturday!
